ChipTunaWarehouse is the culmination of years
of frustration from working within the tuning industry. From the early
years of the software tuning industry there has been an exchange of
information and modified files between tuning companies. The
information was quite often hit and miss, the file varied
greatly depending on who you knew. A lot of people developed in
isolation and gain reputations that would not really stand up to what
would be expected today.
Just like every industry it has
changed and evolved with the technology and the demands of the
customers. ChipTunaWarehouse is another evolution of the industry.
Chip Tuna Warehouse offers tuning and support for many high end branded tuners, we have close links in the OEM network and work within the industry to offer the best service available as a tuning provider, we also assist tool manufacturers in new developments. Our aim for the development of electronics and performance enhancement is clear - we lead the field of tuning with our extensive history of tuning and looking to the future we pioneer new vehicles tuning. Our specialists are continually adapting their know-how in line with the most recent trends and the increasing complexity of the newest generation of engine control systems, our staff have real knowledge above and beyond our competition which gives our customers a distinct advantage.
In order to process the software of the various control units professionally and gain an increase in performance, the software first has to be decompiled, decoded and analysed. Due to this time-intensive process we have extreme expertise with factory Damos, A2L, functionsrahrmen and other calibration files direct from OEM.
In our testing, characteristic maps, curves and constant parameters are filtered out and assigned. On the dynamometer the software is developed constantly accessed directly on the suitably prepared control unit using specially developed equipment. Modifications are made online, i.e. while the engine is running, so that the software can be adapted optimally.
With modern control units between 500 and 3000 individual control maps, curves, constant values have to be changed in order to achieve improved performance. This requires many years of experience and know-how in electronics, IT and engine technology. Our aim of making good things even better is our daily incentive to uncover the potential of new car models and control units with the goal of providing our customers with the optimum in performance, life-span and suitability for everyday situations. We see our product as having an organic development with every optimisation.
Tuning - more than 25 years of tuning experience
Our tuning experience goes back many years including much circuit racing. The art of tuning consists of changing various parameters, such as output, efficiency, response, driving dynamics and consumption, in such a way that not only are the output and torque optimised but also the interplay between all the components.
This wealth of experience has shown us that the best engine cannot achieve its potential if the electronic engine control system does not control the interplay of the relevant parameters optimally. This is where our expertise comes in - expertise which we have gained over many years and with a great deal of our time as well as personal and financial commitment.
Due to this commitment we now have high-tech know-how which allows us to provide performance optimisation, even for modern, complex engine control systems, which, on the one hand are recognised throughout the world and on the other hand are distinguished by their suitability for everyday situations. Our performance tuning activities are developed and tested on the vehicle and on our high-performance test rig using a complex procedure. Only when we have found the best possible tuning variants do we start to sell our tuning. The result of our intensive development and testing procedure is an extraordinarily high level of customer satisfaction.
